These tent pegs from SwissPiranha are made from the high-performance plastic PiranhaNT and offer distinct advantages over conventional pegs: they are ultra-light, impact-resistant and super secure. Their tapered shape makes them easy to hammer in, while an x-shaped cross-section with a sawtooth profile ensures a secure hold in a wide variety of soils. The flat head compresses the ground and maximizes holding power. Notches reliably hold the tent lines in place and provide the best anchoring. The high-performance PiranhaNT plastic is forgiving of hammering with a hammer, axe or stone – there are no sharp edges that damage the tent fabric. Since SwissPiranha tent pegs are completely sunk into the ground at a 90° angle, the risk of injury is reduced to zero. Dirty pegs can be cleaned in the dishwasher. SwissPiranha also scores in environmental friendliness: production is in Switzerland and its high-performance plastic requires up to 13 times less energy than pegs made of aluminum. Bent RT pegs can be restored to their original shape after 5 minutes at 160°C in the oven. Worn-out SwissPiranha pegs can be recycled.
